I had this service for around 7 months in the beginning of last year. Overall, I felt like the products I received were of good quality and it can be a good way to try out products you otherwise wouldn't normally purchase.
While I don't think any of the products were counterfeit, I couldn't help but feel that they were leftovers from last season/colors that didn't sell - especially when it came to the lip and shadow colors. I did receive some higher-end skincare products I adored, however.
The value is definitely there and, for me, each box had come with 1-2 items that I'd liked - ended up gifting/donating the rest
I really don’t see the point of choosing a base in my box if I’m not getting it.
Did not received the 1 product I wanted and the rest I could’ve got at winners.
I could’ve got that at the dollar store

They reach out to me and did not at all resolved the issue or refunded me.
Got a few generic emails that doesn’t do anything.
The box was full of makeup from China... got one product from USA. Better save your money and buy your own products.
They explained to me that the base product only come on the second box
(The first box is supposed to be garbage) ... so I paid 125$ for one product that I could’ve go myself for 30$. Stay away. The fact that they have a no refund policy that you only get to hear about after they charge you says it all!

For the price of the regular box its fantastic, even if I only like 1 item out of the box I'm getting my money's worth. I'm trying new things that I normally wouldn't buy myself in store or online so for the price I'm really happy about. There customers service excellent as well, they always solved my problems or answered my questions in a timely manner.
I was so excited when I signed up with boxycharm. Every month you get this special gift that your are so excited to open. Products are usually amazing. But I have been disappointed in a couple of things first time was when I chose a mascara for my next months box and said I would be receiving it only to get a email saying that my choice was not going to be in my box but you would be sending another item but that I would be getting my mascara shortly after. Well I never received that item EVER!!! I sent an email regarding this matter with the email that was sent to me stating this and never once got a reply and I did this a couple of times so that for sure was very unprofessional and disappointing considering this was an email you sent me promising me that item. So why didn’t someone respond?When I had an item that was damaged and I emailed you for that I got a replacement right away so what made the other problem unresponsive from you guys? Second was I ordered stuff from boxy pop up and I had to pay a fee to get it from my shoppers drug mart that made me upset and with no reason as to why it wasn’t delivered to my mailbox. As well my last box was very disappointing I don’t believe you guys look at our profiles considering I’ve stated that I have oily skin and my last box all though the two primers were different primers why would you give two primers in one box? And both were hydrating primers like that is terrible for my skin it doesn’t work!!! So I reached out which I also do not like what you have to go through with trying to email customer service the boxy bot sucks!! You should be able to click on email customer service and that’s it you shouldn’t have to go through the process of that because the options it gives you doesn’t match why you are wanting to leave an email. This is terrible!!! Anyways when I finally was able to reach customer service they responded with sorry you didn’t like your box we try out best maybe you should update your profile other then that we can’t help you is basically what that email said I have never needed to update that it’s never changed so umm excuse me you would know this if you truly looked at my profile. So this was again disappointing. I will say that the lux has been sucking for probably a year now. The first couple ones were awesome and worth the money I live in Canada so It’s not 50 it’s like over 70 dollars and I feel that ever since premium came out the luxs have been bad and for the last three at least I’ve wanted to just stop those ones but I keep hoping that the next ones better and it’s not. I know I’m not the only one out there that feels this way so you guys need to address this and the above concerns as well. I know a lot of people like to complain just to complain and you can’t take everyone’s complaints to heart but I was treated poorly on some of these issues and it was not fair. And lastly I don’t know why I can’t review my items it doesn’t work so I shouldn’t have so many points and I don’t because it won’t let me review another frustration but I will continue boxy for as long as I can because I truly love getting them but I can’t say I will continue with the lux for much longer. The whole process is a joke, they put repeats in a box and say it's not a repeat if it's been over a year. Then in the next breath claim it's an experience box and that why they put black and blue lipstick in a box... if you place a charm order, you never get it. They just give you charms back and say sorry. I've had 9 charm orders since November that I've never received and it's the same thing over and over again. My box for April had an item missing, a repeat item as well as items that didn't fit in my skin profile that they're insistent on you taking. Claiming it helps to curate the boxes better for you. I have yet to experience that this far...
If I could them zero stars, I will but since the website doesn’t allow me then 1 star rating. I have been waiting for over 2 months for my March add-ons. Over a month for my April box and still haven’t gotten my May box. It is impossible to contact their customer service since they copy and paste the same stupid answer. When you ask them for a refund, they give you charms instead. I am tired of this situation, I want my money back and nobody is helping me. I decided to not cancel my membership and give them another opportunity thinking May would be better, but it is not worthy, they messed me up 3 months in a row. I’m cancelling my membership right now, and I hope either my purchased items or a refund in my card. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY, I think you can find better makeup subscriptions anywhere else but here.
Boxes lately have been very disappointing. Mostly brands and products from these brands that are hardly anything to look forward to. 99% of my boxes the last year have either been sold on poshmark or given away to family. Keep hoping they’ll get better but I’m most likely canceling soon if it doesn’t take a turn for the better and how boxes USED to be. Not to mention all the repeats and wrong shades I’ve received over the last few months as well, really hoping you guys go back to what used to excite all of us charmers. Cause now I could care a less if I get a box or not.
My package arrived soaked, ripped, and missing items. First, I was told I would get charm credits. Uh, no thanks. Didn’t sign up for over $100 worth of makeup for $25 (y’all words, not mine), to get a drink tumbler or a notebook. So then I was told I would get a new box or a refund. I really wanted a new box. But y’all ran out of boxes apparently so I was issued a refund. Which I guess is ok, but not really enjoying my first couple months with y’all. Oh and my Boxyluxe?? What a joke. I signed up for it for March, but y’all somehow made me also buy the December Boxyluxe, which was 3 months after it was originally sent. So it looked like all your reject makeup was put it in. Giving Boxy this month and next as last chance to impress me.
Love this service, the products are great and the price is reasonable. Sometimes the shipping and ordering process can take a little longer than I'd prefer and once or twice i've recieved the wrong product by mistake, but Boxy typically catches the slips themselves and fixes it. I'm always happy with the stuff I get and the products and discounts are will worth the price and time!! overall great value and fun to look forward to every month!
I keep receiving repeat items that I've received in the past. The ingredients in some skincare products don't match up to the ingredients on the items you purchase from the seller. I have bought the exact items from the seller and the smell is different the texture of the cream is different and ingredients in certain products are different or missing certain ingredients. This happens with make-up as well. Not always but at times with both.

Tried to get a refund and they won’t do it. Ordering was a mistake and they are making me pay for a 500$ Subscription and won’t let me cancel it to get my money back
I have previously loved, and I mean LOVED my boxycharm subscription and the benefits of being a charmer like their add ons, boxy pop up sales and being able to choose and customize your box. I have subscribed to all the boxes that they offer for 2+ years and have shopped their many sales and have spent around or over 10 thousand dollars and have remained a loyal customer but everything recently changed when I had an issue with recieving multiple duplicate items in a box and also not recieving my choice items in any of my boxes and had contacted customer service and had gotten copy and paste generic responses from their customer service with absolutely no resolution to my complaints and often the responses were only geared towards one of the few issues or questions I asked, and the other ones being completely ignored and seemingly on purpose since this happened with every email and they were just picking and choosing what to answer so that they could justify why they weren't going to do anything about the problem, and ignore the ones that they had no way out of and Should have offered a solution to. I ended up giving up after countless, endless back and forth emails that were just the same run around and then was given 1000 charms for all the issues that have come up with my recent boxes which I am not happy with as a final result and I feel like that was not nearly a sufficient resolution....
My WHOLE perspective of this company has completely changed from this experience and I truly feel like they don't value their customers and I even feel like they aren't a company that I can trust nor do they have any integrity... I am going to sadly be cancelling all my subscriptions and will not be renewing my yearly base box when it finishes in a few more months and it sucks so much that I have to do this as I cannot support it be a customer of a company that has done this to me, a loyal customer. I would love to continue to get their boxes but I would be doing myself a dishonor by doing so... Their boxes are great and everything but the company itself is very greedy and ungrateful for their customers and I wish I wouldn't have had witnessed this but now that I have, it was time to kick them to the curb and go on my merry way. Hope I can find an even better beauty sub that has great value, boxes, and appreciates their customers and things will be well again. Fingers crossed!

Yes... Slay Glam box is an awesome one and is only $24 monthly... The owner is so amazing... Glow Addict is another one and is $20... There just like boxy charm to me... You get anywhere from 5-7 full size make items of all kinds...

Yea there is ipsy but the difference is that u get sample size product not all the products are full size
